Premium Experience Code of Conduct
1. Access
The access to EMOTION CLUB, Race Suites, Electric Lounge or other Premium Experience products
for all guests is strictly with a Formula E issued pass and wristband only. Passes and wristbands will
also allow re-entry for all guests. A single s pass and wristband permits one guest entry and is non-
transferrable.
It is forbidden for guests or staff to transfer, alter or split any Formula E accreditation passes or
stickers, including to but not limited to Grid or Podium stickers, VIP passes, Staff Access and Parking
passes.
2. Opening Hours
Opening Hours of all Premium Experiences will vary from race to race and are confirmed within the
relevant Guidebooks which will be issued, where possible, four weeks prior to the event.
3. Space Handover
Access to the EMOTION CLUB, Race Suites and Electric Lounge is restricted for all Teams, Partners
and guests until the space is made available by the Premium Experience team. This will be agreed in
advance of the event for Race Suites (usually Thursday afternoon) and access to the EMOTION
CLUB and Electric Lounge will be granted on the T&P walkthrough (usually on Friday of race week).
Teams and Partners or any unauthorised personnel will not be able to access the Premium Experience
spaces until approval has been granted by the Premium Experience team. This includes usage for set
up, working or review of reserved spaces.
4. Children
(a) All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age
of 18 with a maximum of three children per adult.
(b) In bar areas of the Premium Experience spaces where alcoholic beverages are available,
guests under the age of 18 are permitted but must always be accompanied by an adult,
aged 18 years or over.
(c) Guests under the legal drinking age of that race location will not be served alcohol and may
be asked to produce legal identification to prove their age.
5. Security and Personal Belongings
(a) Formula E has the exclusive right to determine what items may be brought into the Premium
Experience spaces.
(b) Formula E will not store any confiscated or restricted items, and these items will not be
returned.
(c) It is prohibited to bring into the event any weapons, fireworks, smoke bombs, glass bottles,
flammable liquids, alcohol or illegal articles which may cause injury.
(d) The size of permissible personal belongings (including handbags, backpacks, shopping bags
and equipment) is limited to 615mm (W) x 410mm (H) per item.
(e) Due to space constraints, it is encouraged that guests leave pushchairs at home or bring a
small foldable one. At busy times, guests may be asked to fold their pushchair or store it in
the cloakroom.
(f) Personal-use recreational wheeled device (for clarity, this does not include any mobility aids
recognised as an accessibility device), such as rollerblades, bicycles, scooters, segways and
skateboards are not permitted.
(g) Guests must always keep their personal belongings with them, unattended bags or belongings
found anywhere will be subject to search and disposal.
(h) Formula E will not be liable for any personal belongings stored in any Premium Experience
cloakroom and/or responsible for any loss or damage to personal property that is brought to
the event.
6. Food and Beverage
(a) All food and beverages from outside of the event are not permitted within the Formula E
Premium Experience spaces unless required for medical reasons.
(b) Formula E endeavours to ensure that all food and beverages are labelled with the correct
allergen information. It is the responsibility of the guest to confirm what food is safe for
consumption if they have a specific allergy or intolerance.
(c) Any persons on a staff access pass or temporary pass are not permitted to consume food or
beverages or use reserved seating designated to guests within the Formula E Premium
Experience spaces. All F&B is reserved solely for guests who are on guest passes and have
the relevant wristbands.
(d) Under no circumstance, should persons on a staff access pass or temporary access pass be
consuming alcohol in any of the Formula E Premium Experience spaces.
7. Film, Photography and Audio Recording
(a) Personal photo, video, and/or audio recording is permitted for private, non-commercial use in
public spaces if it does not impede free movement or public enjoyment in any way.
(b) Filming and photography are prohibited in the teams’ garages during garage tours. The use of
tripods, flash and other specialist photographic equipment is not permitted.
(c) Video, photography and/or audio recordings for commercial purposes (which includes, but is
not limited to, publishing, selling, reproducing, transferring, distributing, or otherwise
commercially exploiting the recorded media in any manner whatsoever) is prohibited without
Formula E’s express written permission in advance.
(d) All guests, including members of the press/news/media, must respect all other guests and
consider that not all guests wish to be interviewed, photographed, videotaped, recorded or
bothered in any other manner. For photography or media accreditation, please contact the

(e) Members of the press, news and/ or media are responsible for acquiring all necessary release
consent forms from filmed or interviewed guests at the event.
8. Parking
For any event, parking passes are issued at the discretion of Formula E. Formula E reserves the right
to restrict and refuse entry to the parking area to any person not holding a parking pass. Parking
passes do not permit the parking of motor homes or caravans in the parking area. Motorbikes also
require a parking pass. The parking area will be open from 06h00 to 19h00 during the event day
unless otherwise determined by Formula E. Parking passes are issued at the discretion of Formula E
on such conditions as Formula E may determine from time to time.
9. Dress Code
The official dress code for any Formula E Premium Experience is Smart-Casual. Uniform, team kit or
Formula E merchandise is also permitted. Any articles of clothing that are deemed offensive,
inappropriate or insensitive are not permitted.
10. Animals
Animals (except for guide dogs and hearing dogs) are not permitted in any of the Premium
Experience spaces without Formula E’s prior permission.
11. Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to act in a way that safeguards their own safety and that of others. Proper
decorum, personal behaviour, and conduct is always required from all visitors to provide an equal
opportunity to all guests in the Premium Experience spaces.
(a) For their own safety and wellbeing guests must comply with all directions given by Formula
E staff. Formula E may refuse admission or remove any person:
i) who does not comply with the Code of Conduct
ii) who does not respect the dress code
iii) who behaves in an unacceptable way which is likely to cause damage, nuisance, or
injury to themselves, any other guest, or member of Formula E staff and/or to the venue
itself
iv) whose behaviour is likely to disturb other guests or staff, such as being antisocially
loud, intimidating, offensive or intoxicated.
v) who refuses to submit to security screening or is found to be in possession of materials
which Formula E believe to be too large, dangerous or unsuitable
vi) whose accreditation pass is found to be reproduced, altered or falsified for the purpose
of unauthorised entry to the event
vii) who litters or causes damage to the venue
viii) who appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
ix) who is found in a restricted area (such as cloakroom, kitchen areas and other back of
house areas) without permission
x) who engages in commercial activities, soliciting, and/or vending
(b) Formula E may remove or refuse entry to any guest or staff personnel who has previously
been removed from any Premium Experience.
(c) Guests are allowed to visit the Paddock area at designated Pit Lane times only. Guests are
required to wear their pass and wristband to access the Pit Lane at the designated non-live
times.
(d) Guests on Garage Tours must always wear the garage tour pass whilst in the Garage. Guests
must always listen and respect the guidance of the Formula E or team staff.
(e) No alcoholic drinks or glass is permitted outside of the Premium Experience spaces at any
time.
(f) No guests shall use, ingest, possess, or distribute illegal drugs while at the event. If any of the
uses above prove true, the guests pass will be removed, and the guest will be escorted out of
the event by security.
12. Health and Safety
Guests are primarily responsible for their own safety and for the safety of any accompanying guests
under the age of 18.
(a) Guests must comply with relevant health and safety legislation and any health and safety
policies or procedures which are drawn to their attention.
(b) Smoking is prohibited inside any of the Premium Experience spaces; this includes electronic
cigarettes. Smoking is on.ly permitted in designated smoking areas.
(c) Any guests suffering bodily injury, or has knowledge of damage, must report the
occurrence(s) to Formula E staff immediately following the incident.
13. Limitation of Liability
Formula E or its employees and contractors will not be responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss
(for example loss of enjoyment), damage, expense, cost, or other sum or claim of any description
whatsoever (including, without limitation, for any closure to the Premium Experience spaces, or
evacuation in the event of an incident or accident) which results from any of the following:
(a) the breach of these Code of Conduct and/or the act(s) and/or omission(s) of the person(s)
affected or any member(s) of their party, or
(b) the act(s) and/or omission(s) of a third party not connected with Formula E and which were
unforeseeable or unavoidable, or
(c) Formula E shall not be liable in any way, if for reasons beyond Formula E’s reasonable
control, you are unable to access and/or enter the event including but not limited to war,
terrorism, government action, natural disaster, adverse weather and/ or industrial dispute.
Formula E accepts no responsibility or liability arising from incidental costs associated with guests of
any Premium Experiences, which may include, but are not limited to, travel expenses, parking, or
accommodation costs, even if the passes are cancelled or revoked.
14. Variation
Formula E may amend or vary this Code of Conduct from time to time by notifying you prior to your
visit and updating the document linked on the Premium Experience Hub.
15. Law and Jurisdiction
The Premium Experience Code of Conduct, and any non-contractual obligations arising in connection
with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and
each party agrees to submit any dispute which may arise out of, under, or in connection with this
documentation (including disputes relating to any non-contractual obligations) to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
