Greg Davies is a Welsh comedian, actor, writer, and presenter. He is best known for his roles as Mr. Gilbert in the television series "The Inbetweeners," Ken Thompson in "Cuckoo," and Dan Davies in "Man Down." Additionally, Davies is the creator and host of the BAFTA-winning series "Taskmaster".
Davies began his career as a teacher before transitioning to comedy. He became a regular performer at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in the 2000s, and his shows received critical acclaim. In 2005, he won the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer for his debut solo show, "Firing Cheeseballs at a Dog." Since then, he has released several successful stand-up specials, including "The Back of My Mum's Head" and "You Magnificent Beast".
