About ATP Finals

The ATP Finals is the season-ending championship of the ATP Tour. It is the most significant tennis event in the men's annual calendar after the four majors. The tournament features the top eight singles players and top eight doubles teams based on their results throughout the season. The event has a rich history dating back to its inception as "The Masters" in Tokyo in 1970.

The ATP Finals are contested in major cities around the world. From 2021 to 2025, the tournament is scheduled to be held in Turin, Italy. The indoor hard-court event is held at the Pala Alpitour in Turin.

The format of the ATP Finals consists of a round-robin stage followed by knockout rounds. The singles competition features a draw of eight players, divided into two groups of four. Each player competes against the other three players in their group, with the top two from each group advancing to the semifinals. The doubles competition follows a similar format, with eight teams divided into two groups.
