Sedgefield Racecourse, located in Sedgefield, County Durham, is an English left-handed horse racing course. It is known as one of the country's friendliest racecourses, offering a warm and relaxed atmosphere for racegoers. 
 
The racecourse features a finishing straight that spans about three furlongs. It includes a steep descent followed by a climb to the winning post after the last fence, providing a challenging and exciting course for jump racing.
 
The racecourse is easily accessible, situated just outside the village of Sedgefield. It is approximately a twenty-minute drive from Teesside, Darlington, and Durham city centre. The nearest mainline stations are located in Darlington and Durham.
