With each Welsh Rugby ticket purchase made, a donation goes to a cause both the Welsh Rugby Union and Seat Unique truly care for.

At Seat Unique, we are proud to have launched a new Supporter Exchange with the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) this week. The new platform provides a safe space for a community of supporters to buy and sell tickets, without the risk of illegitimate purchases.

We are passionate about creating a secure reselling space for supporters, as well as giving back to great charities. The Supporter Exchange incites positive social impact for both the WRU’s chosen charity, the Welsh Charitable Trust, and Seat Unique’s charity partner, Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI).

Both organisations continue to support rugby at a fundamental level. The new platform helps keep vital funds within grassroots rugby by allocating a portion of revenue back to clubs to help them develop.

When you make a purchase on the Supporter Exchange, you’re not just buying a ticket; you’re supporting two incredible causes. For each transaction, a £1 donation will be shared equally between the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust and RBLI.  

This small but significant donation will help The Trust on its mission to enhance the quality of life of players who’ve been severely injured while playing rugby. It will enable The Trust to continue to provide practical, social and financial support towards rehabilitation, counselling, career advice, educational opportunities and retraining.

The donation will also help RBLI improve the lives of those in the British Armed Forces community who are disadvantaged by poor health, disability and poverty. It will help them provide more housing, healthcare, welfare and employment support for ex-military personnel.

Without donations, both charities wouldn’t be able to offer crucial support to injured rugby players, ex-Armed Forces personnel and their families. Your purchase will help raise awareness of the Welsh Charitable Trust and RBLI’s work while giving back to the vulnerable.

Your WRU ticket purchase will help keep vital funds in grassroots rugby

Did you know that Welsh rugby clubs are permitted to sell up to ten per cent of their ticket allocations for home Welsh rugby internationals on the Supporter Exchange? As a result, proceeds go directly back to each club that you buy a ticket from. This helps grassroots rugby clubs fund vital equipment, playing kits and so much more.

When you purchase a ticket from a club, not only are you helping to keep money in grassroots rugby, you are giving back to the clubs that are its lifeblood. This helps to provide more opportunities to support the development of young Welsh rugby players and to develop clubs at a fundamental level.
