In existence since 1825, before moving to its current venue in 1888, Wolverhampton Racecourse is a mile long, and the perfect spot for a fast and furious horse race.
The track was revamped in 1994 and was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II - who was well-known as an avid lover of horseracing.

Ladies Evening

One of the most famous events when it comes to the racing, Ladies Evening is a chance to get dressed up to the nines - and not just for the ladies, but the gents too!
Don your finest attire and see if you can grab a prize during the Style Awards, which go out to the best dressed on the day.
There will also be an event called the Silk Series, showcasing women in horse racing.
And in the evening, there’ll be a music act, so get ready to party into the night.
Family Fun Race Day
Sunday 10th August 2025
If you want to take your little ones to the races, this will be the perfect chance. A mix of races and family-friendly entertainment, the kids will be sure to enjoy themselves.
Superhero-loving children will jump at the chance to dress up as their favourite characters, and there will also be chances to meet comic book legends across the day.
If the kids need any more entertainment, they can take part in arts and crafts (while parents are busy placing their bets).
Children under 17 go free when accompanied by an adult.
