Tottenham Hotspur is gearing up for a crucial summer as they aim to change the course of the club's trajectory after enduring yet another tumultuous season.

After a disappointing season, Tottenham find themselves facing a critical question: can they regain their footing and steer towards a successful 2023/24 season?
Only they hold the answer to that question, as we engage in speculation and offer our predictions for Tottenham's upcoming campaign across all competitions.
Tottenham Squad
The upcoming individual assuming the managerial position at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will bear the responsibility of optimising the performance of the club's exceptional talents, while also addressing the areas where improvements are lacking.
Tottenham have recently appointed a new manager, Ange Postecoglou, could this put the team back on the right path after a disappointing season?
In an article from the Mirror, Daniel Levy, Chairman stated ‘Ange brings a positive mentality and a fast, attacking style of play. He has a strong track record of developing players and an understanding of the importance of the link from the academy - everything that is important to our Club. We are excited to have Ange join us as we prepare for the season ahead’.
Question marks have arisen regarding Harry Kane's future at Tottenham. Presently, it appears probable that the striker will remain for another year before departing the club upon the expiration of his contract next summer.
Kane experienced his most prolific season to date, scoring 30 goals in the league. Losing him in a season without the distractions of European football would considerably diminish their prospects of securing a trophy or reclaiming a top-four position.
Dejan Kulusevski is faced with the imperative task of significantly elevating his performance in the upcoming season. Initially anticipated to be one of the most thrilling players at Spurs as the new season commenced, the Swede, unfortunately, proved to be highly disappointing.
He only managed to score two goals and provide seven assists in the league, which is less than half of the goal contributions he achieved in a comparable number of games during his debut season.
Tottenham has long yearned for a midfield playmaker, and James Maddison could potentially provide the solution. The club made an attempt to secure his services last summer, but the move was blocked by then-manager Antonio Conte.
However, with Conte's departure and the imminent arrival of a more offensive-minded coach, the possibility of signing Maddison could become a reality. Another promising candidate for this role is Alex Scott from Bristol City, a talented teenager who has displayed impressive skills in the Championship.
Tottenham in the Premier League
After enduring a nightmarish campaign, most supporters can now breathe a sigh of relief as it finally comes to a close. However, amidst the uncertainty surrounding the appointment of their next manager and renewed doubts about Kane's future, Tottenham finds themselves lacking clarity on the path ahead.
Currently occupying the 8th position in the Premier League, Spurs initially showed promise by being on par with Manchester City at the top of the table in mid-September. However, a 3-1 defeat at the Emirates Stadium marked the beginning of a downward spiral, with seven losses in 12 Premier League matches, leaving them unable to mount a significant recovery.
Will Tottenham be able to make a solid recovery in the 2023/34 Premier League season?
Tottenham in the Champions League
Although Tottenham's overall campaign was marked by disappointment, there was a shining moment during the final matchday of the Champions League group stages. With qualification at stake, Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg found the back of the net in the fifth minute of injury time, securing a crucial 2-1 victory over Marseille at Stade Velodrome and ensuring their place in the round of 16.
This triumph should have injected renewed enthusiasm into Antonio Conte's team as they entered the knockout stages. However, fate had a different plan, and Tottenham faltered, ultimately exiting the competition with a disappointing 1-0 aggregate defeat to a Milan side they were more than capable of defeating.
Despite the bitter end to their Champions League journey, the late heroics in Marseille remain a memorable highlight in an otherwise underwhelming season for Tottenham. It serves as a reminder of the team's potential and the fleeting moments of brilliance that can ignite hopes and dreams in the hearts of the fans.
FA Cup & Carabao Cup
In the previous season, Tottenham experienced disappointment in the FA Cup when they were eliminated in the 5th round by Sheffield. The decision made by their then-manager, Christian Stellini, to rest Harry Kane during that match drew significant backlash from the fans. This choice sparked controversy, as supporters couldn't comprehend why Stellini opted to rest Tottenham's star player during such a crucial game.
Similarly, the Carabao Cup failed to provide Tottenham with any sense of delight as they suffered a loss to Nottingham Forest in the 3rd round.
