Are The Rolling Stones Touring in 2025?

The Rolling Stones 2025 UK Tour Dates & Venues

In November 2023, The Rolling Stones released their 28th studio album, ‘Hackney Diamonds’, their first album of original material since 2005’s ‘A Bigger Bang’.

‘Hackney Diamonds’ comes after the passing of the band’s life-long drummer, Charlie Watts, in 2021 and features two tracks with the late drummer - ‘Mess It Up’ and ‘Live By The Sword’, the latter of which also features fellow music royalty, Elton John, on piano.

In an interview with The New York Times in September 2023, frontman and co-songwriter, Mick Jagger, confirmed that a follow-up to ‘Hackney Diamonds’ is already in the works, with Jagger claiming that the band were “three-quarters through” the next album.

Who will be supporting The Rolling Stones in 2025?

The Rolling Stones are known to take some of the hottest acts on tour with them, with megastar-in-waiting, Sam Fender, opening for them in Hyde Park in 2022. In 2018, UK superstars Liam Gallagher and Florence and The Machine were invited along to open for the legendary band.

In the US leg of the Hackney Diamonds tour this year they were supported by the likes of The Pretty Reckless, Ghost Hounds and The Beaches.

‘Hackney Diamonds’ entered the UK album charts at number 1. The album charted at number 1 in 20 different countries, as well as the top 10 in eleven further countries, including number 3 on the US Billboard Top 200.

‘Hackney Diamonds’ is The Rolling Stones’ 14th number 1 album in the UK, and 42nd top 10 album, including compilations and live albums.

When was The Rolling Stone's last tour?

The Rolling Stones last played the UK in 2022, appearing twice at British Summer Time at Hyde Park, with a warm-up show at Liverpool FC’s Anfield.

Before this, The Rolling Stones toured the UK in 2018, making stops at The London Stadium, Manchester United’s Old Trafford, and The Principality Stadium in Cardiff amongst other British stadiums.

So it's definitely time for them to hit home ground again and put on a Rolling Stones Tour 2025 in the UK!

The Rolling Stones played a 20-date North American tour between April and July 2024, hitting the likes of Las Vegas, Orlando, Los Angeles and Chicago.

The tour concluded in the States on 21st July in Ridgedale, Missouri.

In an interview with RTL in Germany on 8 December 2023, Mick Jagger said he hoped that The Stones would bring their tour to Europe once the North American tour is finished.

Do The Rolling Stones have a new album?

‘Hackney Diamonds’ was released to largely positive reviews, including a 78% aggregate score with Metacritic.

Many fans online have described the album as The Stones’ best since 1981’s ‘Tattoo You’ which featured the iconic track ‘Start Me Up’.

‘Hackney Diamonds’ immediately sounds like a classic Stones album, touching on all aspects of the band’s career from guitar anthem, ‘Angry’, to country ballad, ‘Depending on You’, and Keith Richards-led acoustic track, ‘Tell Me Straight’. The second single from the album, ‘Sweet Sounds of Heaven’ is arguably a career-best track and wouldn’t be out of place in a set sat next to the 1969 classic, ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’.
