Terms and Conditions for Seat Unique Social Media Competition

General Information

This competition is organised and operated by Seat Unique (“the Promoter”). By entering, participants agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Any entry that fails to adhere to these terms may be disqualified at Seat Unique's sole discretion.

Competition Period

The competition will open on Friday 6th December 2024 at 4:00 PM and close on Friday, 20th December 2024 at 11:59 PM. Any entries submitted outside this time frame will not be considered. The winner will be contacted via Instagram Direct Message on Monday, 10th January 2025.

Eligibility

By participating in this competition, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry. Entrants under the age of 18 are not eligible to participate.

Entry Requirements

To enter the competition, participants must complete the following actions on Instagram:

  • Like the official competition post.
  • Follow Seat Unique’s official Instagram account (@seatunique).
  • Tag a friend in the comments section of the post

It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure all required steps are completed. Incomplete, incorrect, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

Prize Details

The winner will receive £1,000 credit to use on the Seat Unique website. This credit can be applied toward tickets for any available event.

  • Additional Costs: If the selected tickets exceed the £1,000 credit value, the winner is responsible for paying the balance.
  • The Prize is offered as described and must be accepted as awarded. It is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or resold.
  • Seat Unique reserves the right to substitute the Prize with one of equal or greater value in circumstances outside its control.

Winner Selection and Notification

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries. The winner will be contacted directly via Instagram Direct Message on Monday, 6th January 2025.

If the winner does not respond within seven (7) days of being contacted, Seat Unique reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and select an alternative winner. Proof of identity, age, and address may be required for Prize verification.

By accepting the Prize, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity efforts by Seat Unique. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of the winner’s name, photograph, video, and comments in promotional materials without additional compensation.

Disqualification Policy

Seat Unique reserves the right to disqualify any entries or participants deemed to have breached these Terms and Conditions or acted contrary to the spirit of the competition. Entries that appear to have been submitted fraudulently or through unauthorized methods will be void.

Liability Disclaimer

Participation in the competition is at the entrant’s own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Seat Unique accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of the Prize.
  • Seat Unique is not responsible for any technical issues or disruptions that may prevent successful entry submissions, Prize notifications, or delivery.

Seat Unique’s liability will not be excluded or limited in cases of negligence or fraud.

Cancellation and Modification

If unforeseen circumstances arise, such as tampering, fraud, unauthorized intervention, or technical failures that disrupt the competition, Seat Unique reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition. These actions will be taken at the Promoter’s sole discretion.

Personal Data

All personal data provided as part of the competition will be processed in line with Seat Unique’s Privacy Policy. Data will only be used for the administration of the competition unless entrants have explicitly opted in for future marketing communications.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Final Decision

All decisions made by Seat Unique regarding the competition are final and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be entertained.

By entering this competition, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
