Robin Sherry, CEO of Seat Unique, was interviewed for Bloomberg UK on 9th December to talk everything from career achievements to podcast recommendations.
In the Q&A, Robin shares his plans for the future of Seat Unique, the number one destination for premium live experiences. With recent announcements of Seat Unique becoming the official hospitality sales platform for Salford City FC, and backing from media and investment group 4CAST, it looks like the only way is up.
Robin also recounts how he and wife Philippa Hicks decided to take the plunge to start the platform, born from a desire to make booking hospitality packages easier and to connect fans with unforgettable experiences.
When asked to give some sage advice he wished he knew at the beginning of his career, Robin answered: "Life passes so quickly and if you just keep chasing, you might miss the whole thing. I definitely would tell my former self to spend more time with friends and family."
As the CEO of a premium ticketing platform, Robin is the ultimate person to ask about saving time. He says: "I end up booking events to see everyone at once. It saves ten individual meets, otherwise I don’t see people."
But it wasn't all questions about his job. Robin also revealed his dream dinner party guest – Harry Kane, Tottenham Hotspur's all-time highest goalscorer.
