Taking place from 21st-25th August 2024, the Reading and Leeds Festival always showcases the very best when it comes to rock, indie and alternative music.

Reading has taken place in its current form since 1971, with Leeds being added as a second location in 1999 due to popular demand. Now, the two festivals run on the same weekend each year.

In the past, legendary acts such as Nirvana, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, New Order and Black Sabbath have performed - and although it's now finished for 2024, this year’s lineup was epic.

In this blog, we’ll take a look at some of the bands that performed and how you can see them on tour, as well as those rumoured to be touring soon.

We’ll also look at how to see artists on the lineup with VIP and hospitality tickets.

Which Reading and Leeds Festival lineup artists can I currently see on tour?

Liam Gallagher

Liam Gallagher paid homage to Oasis by playing ‘Definitely Maybe’ in full when he headlined the festival.

He also made a very exciting allusion to the band getting back together when he beamed a message that said simply '27.08.24' onto the big screen, along with the time '8am'.

This same message also appeared on the Instagram account of Liam, brother Noel, and Oasis, all at the same time.

It was followed up by an official announcement on 27th August that Oasis will reform for a series of huge summer shows next year at venues including Wembley and the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

You can read more about the tour in our in-depth blog here, including all the details on dates and how to get VIP seats.
