Are Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds releasing new music?

Since their formation in 2010, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds discography features four studio albums, with the latest album release being ‘Council Skies' in 2023.

The album represents the band’s shift in style as the work moves towards an ‘orchestral’ sound, and away from the more jazzy, psychedelic rock of their previous material.

When talking about the new record to Radio X, Gallagher stated “It’s going back to the beginning. Daydreaming, looking up at the sky and wondering about what life could be... that’s as true to me now as it was in the early ‘90s. When I was growing up in poverty and unemployment, music took me out of that”.

Most recently Rolling Stone magazine reported that after his last tour, Gallagher headed straight back to the studio in December 2023 to record his next album. As he told it, “in the pandemic there was nothing to do all day so I just wrote songs. There’s another two albums-worth of material there”.

Although no release date nor any new material has been confirmed, hopefully fans will be able to look forward to more songs from the rocker soon.

When Did Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds last tour?

On the 2nd June 2023, Noel and co. announced and released their fourth studio album, ‘Council Skies’. Later on in the year, they embarked on a celebratory sell-out arena tour across the world.

The UK leg of the tour consisted of 6 dates across the country, with stops at OVO Arena Wembley London, Utilita Arena Birmingham, International Arena Cardiff, First Direct Arena Leeds, Ovo Hydro Glasgow and M&S Bank Arena Liverpool.

Their 2024 dates consisted of a summer of festival and outdoor gigs, which have now wrapped up.  

Are Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Touring in 2025?

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have yet to announce a tour for 2025, however it's likely that the band will announce a new tour at some point down the line.

However, none other than Oasis will be touring in 2025, and it's likely that this will take priority for Noel.
