When is the NFL Brazil Game 2024 happening?

The game will take place on Friday 6th September 2024.

This will be the first time that an NFL opening weekend game is played on a Friday night in more than 50 years.

The match will take place at the Corinthians Arena, the home of the top-tier Brazilian soccer team, who play in the Brazilian Championship A Series.

The teams that will go head-to-head in the game are the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles.

What’s the history between the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles?

This will be the 48th time that the Packers and the Eagles have played - with the Packers taking the lead 29-18, according to Pro Football Reference.

The last time the two teams met was in 2022 when the Eagles were led to a 40-33 victory by quarterback Jalen Hurts. So the Packers will be sure to want to trounce the Eagles this time round.

Which are the players to watch out for in the NFL Brazil 2024?

At the end of the 2023 season, the teams had differing fortunes. The Eagles lost six of the last seven games they played, but the Packers won four out of five of their games.

Players to keep an eye on include the Eagles’ super-speedy running back Saquon Barkley, who has been newly brought over from the New York Giants.


Meanwhile, ascending edge rusher Bryce Huff, who has just signed a three-year contract with the Eagles, will lend strength to the defence.

In terms of the Packers, Jordan Love will want to continue on from his excellent last season and look to cement himself in the team as an elite quarterback.
