The indie pop trio is formed of lead singer Hannah Reid, guitarist Dan Rothman, and keyboardist Dominic ‘Dot’ Major.
The band announced in April that they’re releasing a fourth album called ‘The Greatest Love’ later on this year, and it’s now been confirmed that it’ll be out this November.
The album follows on from their first three albums, 2013’s ‘If You Wait’, which reached number two in the charts, and successive number one albums, 2017’s ‘Truth is a Beautiful Thing’ and 2021’s ‘Californian Soul’.
A press release reveals that the new record “will see them celebrate a new chapter as they leave their past behind them and hone in on a newfound sense of freedom”, reports NME.
The band have already shared lead single ‘House’, from the new album.
Speaking about ‘House’, Hannah revealed that the track is inspired by the way her feelings matured as she entered her thirties.
“‘House’ is about drawing boundaries around yourself,” she revealed. “When I hit my thirties, my mindset shifted, and I no longer felt like a victim of anything – it all felt within my power. I thought, making music should be fun, and we’re gonna make that happen.”
