Linkin Park were one of the defining nu metal bands of the noughties.
With a dark, edgy sound, the band delighted fans with classic albums such as 2000’s ‘Hybrid Theory’, and collaborated with none other than Jay-Z on their 2004 remix album, ‘Collision Course’.
In 2017, the band took an indefinite hiatus, after the tragic death of lead singer Chester Bennington.
But now, fans are overjoyed at the news that Linkin Park are going back out on tour, with new co-lead singer Emily Armstrong, in what promises to be a new era for their music.
In a statement, fellow co-lead singer Mike Shinoda spoke about his excitement for the band’s new direction, which will “channel the DNA of Linkin Park”.
He said, “We are proud of what Linkin Park has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead.”
In this blog, we’ll take a look at how the band have reformed and how you can see them live in the UK with VIP tickets.
