How do the Play-offs work in League One?
The Play-Offs consist of two rounds, with the first being the Semi-final round. Here, the teams will be split up, so the team who finished 3rd will play the team who finished 6th, with the teams finishing 4th and 5th playing each other.
It is a two-legged tie with a game played at each team's home ground, after which the winner on aggregate will go through to the Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium.

Bolton was the first team to qualify for the League One Play-Off Final. Their opponent was be determined the 8th of May, as the remaining two teams played the second leg of the play-off semi-finals.
The semi-finals got off to an exciting start, creating plenty of anticipation for the upcoming matches.
Last week’s match between Barnsley and Bolton saw the Wanderers controlling the game, with goals from Dion Charles and Randell Williams securing them a 3-1 win. Luckily for Bolton this meant they went into the second leg match with a healthy advantage, and despite losing to Barnsley with a 2-3 final score, their aggregate goals have seen them move into the final.
The Oxford United vs Peterborough saw Oxford fight through the Posh’s defences to clinch a 1-0 win. Their one goal advantage ended up saving them going into the second leg, in which they tied 1-1 with Peterborough thanks to a penalty shot by Cameron Brannagan.
