The League One Play-off Final is set to return in 2024. After several nail-biting matches throughout the competition, fans are on the edge of their seats to know who will make the third promotion.

How many teams are in the League One Play-Offs?

With the League One table there are three spots available for promotion.

How do the Play-offs work in League One?

The Play-Offs consist of two rounds, with the first being the Semi-final round. Here, the teams will be split up, so the team who finished 3rd will play the team who finished 6th, with the teams finishing 4th and 5th playing each other.

It is a two-legged tie with a game played at each team's home ground, after which the winner on aggregate will go through to the Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium.

The Oxford United vs Peterborough saw Oxford fight through the Posh’s defences to clinch a 1-0 win. Their one goal advantage ended up saving them going into the second leg, in which they tied 1-1 with Peterborough thanks to a penalty shot by Cameron Brannagan.
