The upcoming T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by defending champions India and neighbouring Sri Lanka throughout February and March 2026.
The last tournament held in 2024 took place in across the West Indies and the United States. 20 teams took part.
What stadiums are in the 2026 T20 World Cup?
Venues across India and Sri Lanka are unconfirmed for the 2026 t20 World Cup. However after an agreement in December 2024 between the Board of Control for Cricket in India and Pakistan Cricket Board, the ICC confirmed that matches involving India and Pakistan must be hosted at a neutral venue, so if the teams were to meet at the t20 World Cup 2026 their matches will be played in Sri Lanka.

What is the format of the World Cup 2026?

The 2026 T20 World Cup will follow a structure similar to the 2024 edition:
