As they conclude their Hella Mega tour, we discuss the possibility of more Green Day tour dates in 2023, and tell you how you could be there with VIP tickets at Seat Unique.
American rock band Green Day have just wrapped up their UK and European 'Hella Mega tour' after it was pushed back as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Touring alongside Fall Out Boy and Weezer, the band performed to thousands of fans across the globe but some were left disappointed as they missed out due to a number of cancelled concert dates.
As a result, many are wondering if Green Day will be heading back across the pond sooner rather than later to perform to fans who didn’t get the chance to see them this year.
Keep reading as we share our predictions for a Green Day tour in 2023, and show you how to be the first to secure the best seats in the house for upcoming tour dates with VIP tickets.

Green Day were finally able to complete their 'Hella Mega tour' in 2022 after it was pushed back from its original schedule of 2019.
The band sold a whopping total of 659,000 tickets for the tour but due to pandemic restrictions, planned dates in Oceania and Asia were cancelled while only some European and UK dates went ahead.
They ultimately completed four UK tour dates in 2022 at venues in London, Huddersfield, Dublin and Glasgow.
Are Green Day releasing new music?
Green Day’s most recent release was revealed on October 14th. The song titled ‘You Irritate Me’ is a demo track from their Nimrod album, and was released in celebration of the record’s 25th anniversary.
Before this, the band had not dropped new music since May 2021 when they released the single ‘Pollyanna’.
Green Day are not officially confirmed to be working on new music but earlier this year previewed what seemed to be a snippet of them recording a new track in a teaser clip titled ‘1972’.
Will Green Day tour in 2023?
As of now, Green Day have only revealed one live show date for next year.
In October 2023, the band will be headlining the ‘When We Were Young Festival’ in Las Vegas alongside fellow rockers Blink-182.
This leaves the whole of the summer open for a potential Green Day tour to take place across the globe. Keep reading to find out where we think they could perform in the UK.
Predicted UK Green Day tour dates & venues
While the ‘Good Riddance’ singers have not officially revealed plans to head back out on tour in 2023, we predict that they will perform at a handful of venues across the UK during the summer.
We anticipate that the band will be booked to perform at open air stadiums as they typically enjoy performing for fans at this style of venue as we saw with their set of UK tour dates earlier this year.
