Nearly four years after the release of their biggest hit ‘Heat Waves’, British indie-pop band Glass Animals have announced an international tour, ‘Tour Of Earth’. The tour will come to 5 UK cities later this year.

Are Glass Animals making a new album?

Described as ‘psychedelic pop’ by the Evening Standard, the four-man band made up of Dave Bayley, Drew MacFarlane, Edmund Irwin-Singer and Joe Seaward will be gracing stages across the world in 2024 with their soon-to-be-released fourth studio album, ‘I LOVE YOU SO F***ING MUCH’.

‘I LOVE YOU SO F***ING MUCH’ is a greatly anticipated return to the scene for Glass Animals. Lead singer Bayley described the record to Bloomberg as being born from an “existential crisis” and “deep exploration of love”, themes that encapsulate the festival-reminiscent and dreamy feeling of Glass Animals’s signature sound.

In their own words, Glass Animals have missed playing concerts as much as their fans have missed listening to them and said that the new album will be “exceptionally fun live” on social media.

Released just days ago, the first single from the album ‘Creatures in Heaven’ has already received critical acclaim, and will be one of ten new tracks fans will be able to enjoy live later this year.

When are Glass Animals going on tour in 2024?

‘I LOVE YOU SO F***ING MUCH’ will be released on 19th July 2024, with ‘Tour of Earth’ beginning in August 2024 in the US. The 41-date tour will cover 10 countries spanning the US and Europe and ending in the UK in November.

The UK leg of ‘Tour of Earth’ will start with a bang in Glasgow on 1st November, with the band going down the country stopping in Manchester, Nottingham, and Cardiff and will end in London a week later.
