When is Derek Chisora’s next fight?

Derek Chisora's next fight has been confirmed to take place on February 8th 2025 at Co-op Live in Manchester against Otto Wallin. It will be his 49th professional fight.

Who will be Derek Chisora’s next opponent?

It's been confirmed that Derek Chisora will take on Sweden's Otto Wallin, in what is being dubbed Chisora's "last dance" as it could be his last ever fight in the UK as the 40-year-old prepares to bow out of professional boxing.

Wallin is ranked number 12 by the IBF and previously held the WBA Inter-Continental heavyweight title back in 2023.

His last fight was a victory against Onoriode Ehwarieme by KO in July 2024. He has won 27 professional fights with two losses to date.

Wallin said, "I know I'm walking into the lion's den, but I will be ready for it and ready to get the victory."

Where is Derek Chisora’s next fight?

The fight will take place at Manchester's Co-op Live on 8th February 2025.

Chisora said: "I've had some amazing nights in Manchester, both in the ring and in the warehouse raves so was its only right I had one last dance up north. Come February 8th I'm going to be bringing WAR to Wallin, be ready for my penultimate showreel knockout."

Did Derek Chisora win his last fight?

Chisora’s last fight took place in July 2024, against Joe Joyce. At this point, 40-year-old Chisora hadn’t fought for a year, but pulled it out of the bag to defeat Joyce in a hugely entertaining heavyweight clash.

Chisora stormed to victory after winning by unanimous decision, with scores of 96-94, 96-94 and 97-92 at London’s O2 Arena.

The match saw Chisora initially take the lead, before Joyce fought back, but veteran Chisora was too strong and experienced for Joyce, eventually dominating again in rounds nine and 10.

Chisora said to TNT Sports: "I want to thank Frank Warren for keeping faith with me. I thought it was a good way to end my career with the man I started with.

"It's not my last fight - I've got two more. It's my last fight in the O2 Arena."

Will Derek Chisora win his next fight?

While we don’t know who will win the match, Chisora is an experienced boxer and is certainly keen to go out on a high with just two fights left in his career. With these matches likely to be his farewell, he will be putting everything he can into them.
