Cardi B rose to fame after gaining popularity on Vine and Instagram and as a star on reality TV show ‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’.
The rapper released her debut studio album ‘Invasion of Privacy’ in 2018 and has since rocketed into the limelight for her risqué lyrics, endearing personality and unapologetic authenticity.
Cardi, the wife of Migos rapper Offset, has received critical acclaim and became the first woman to win the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album as a solo artist.
However, the ‘Be Careful’ rapper is yet to release her second album and has not toured in years. Now, fans are left wondering: when will Cardi B be back?

Is Cardi B releasing a new album?
Cardi released her first album ‘Invasion of Privacy’ in 2018 which projected her straight to stardom.
The New York Times called it “one of the most powerful debuts of this millennium” and “a hip-hop album that doesn't sound like any of its temporal peers”.
Tracks from the record including ‘I Like It’ and ‘Bodak Yellow’ topped the charts and gained the rapper 12 nominations for the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.
Since then, Cardi has collaborated with a number of popular artists including Migos, Megan Thee Stallion and Bruno Mars, producing banger after banger!
In late December 2021, Cardi announced that she would be releasing her second album in 2022. However, we now know that that is not the case.
Back then, Cardi stated that she intended to “go away for a very long time to finish my album” and that “it’s been a lot trying to balance out my new life”.
The ‘WAP’ rapper is now a mother of two and has since confirmed that music has taken a back seat in her life.
During an Instagram Live, she revealed that “I feel like I have gotten too comfortable… because I’m just a mom”. Cardi went on to explain that she has been experiencing anxiety in knowing that when she releases a new album she will have to tour and leave her children behind.
The rapper has confirmed that she would not feel comfortable moving her daughter or taking her on tour because it would “rob her away from things she loves to do”.
While Cardi has confessed that she is not prioritising a tour right now, she may be conscious that it has been almost five years since her last album and that in showbiz, relevancy is key.
Therefore, we anticipate that the singer and rap star will be working on finally releasing new music as teased in 2021, but that she may wait a while to celebrate with a full scale tour.
When did Cardi B last go on tour?
Cardi completed a North America tour in support of her debut studio album with dates in Tulsa, Wichita, Lincoln, Minneapolis, Indianapolis and Charlottesville.
However, the ‘Please Me’ rapper never took her tour across the Atlantic or to other areas of the world.
The star has performed in the UK a number of times, namely as a headline act at Wireless Festival 2019 and 2022 and Longitude Festival in 2019.
Since then, Cardi has performed at a number of US events including Mad Cool Festival, the Grammy Awards and the American Music Awards.
UK fans of the rapper are desperate to experience a full-scale Cardi B tour, having only experienced short festival setlists from the artist.
When will Cardi B go on tour?
As previously mentioned, Cardi B has not expressed plans to head out on tour soon. However, knowing Cardi, when she returns to the music sphere, she will come back with a bang!
Therefore, we anticipate that once she drops a new album, the accompanying tour will see Cardi travel the globe for the first time.
When she does hit UK soil, Cardi is likely to perform at a number of arena venues including:
- 3 Arena, Dublin
- Utilita Arena, Newcastle
- First Direct Arena, Leeds
- AO Arena, Manchester
- Utilita Arena, Birmingham
- The O2 Arena, London
We also predict that with such a huge fan base behind her, Cardi may even hit up one of the UK’s stadiums.
