Arctic Monkeys are wrapping up their 2023 world tour with new concert dates in Dublin and Belfast. But is this really the end? We discuss whether more dates and locations will be added to 'The Car' world tour finale.

Following the release of their seventh studio album, 'The Car', Arctic Monkeys embarked on a world tour that showcased their ever-evolving artistry.

The Sheffield four-piece hit the road back in late May 2023 with a run of huge concert dates.

From the grandeur of Bristol's Ashton Gate Stadium to iconic venues in Manchester, Norwich, Middlesbrough, Swansea, Southampton, and Glasgow, Alex Turner and co. delivered an exhilarating and nostalgic journey through their back catalogue, woven seamlessly with their new music direction.

All of this preparation set the stage for the band's spotlight moment at this year's Glastonbury Festival, where they once again took center stage as headliners on the iconic pyramid stage, marking their third triumphant appearance.

As Arctic Monkeys progress through their world tour in the USA and Canada, they've also unveiled fresh Irish dates that signal the conclusion of their tour. But here's the intrigue: could there be more in store?

Discover the latest on these new dates, venues, and potential additions as we delve into what lies ahead.

Are Arctic Monkeys making a new album?

The Sheffield rockers released their seventh studio album, 'The Car', on 21st October 2022.

When announcing the album, Monkeys revealed that their latest release is set to pick back up from where 'Tranquillity Base Hotel & Casino' left off.

Fans gained their first insight into the new tracklist as the band debuted 'I Ain't Quite Where I Think I am' at the Zurich Openair festival on August 23rd.

Following on from their performances at Reading and Leeds Festival 2022, the band released their opening track from the latest album titled 'There'd Better Be a Mirrorball'.

When did Arctic Monkeys last tour the UK?

Arctic Monkeys finished the European leg of their current 2023 world tour at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow on 25th June.

The band were forced to cancel their date at Marlay Park in Dublin as Alex Turner was suffering from acute laryngitis, and had been given medical advice to rest.

The 'R U Mine' hitmakers have just announced plans for three arena gigs in Dublin and an additional date in Belfast, all set for October.

While this appears to be a potential world tour finale, the question lingers: could the Monkeys return to home to play one last time in 2023?

The possibility is very exciting, and we're inclined to think it's a strong contender!
