AFC Wimbledon and Seat Unique, the premium ticketing marketplace, have developed a brand new and exciting matchday experience at The Cherry Red Records Stadium.

AFC Wimbledon and Seat Unique are pleased to announce the launch of a new hospitality offering at The Cherry Red Records Stadium, Plough Lane. The Seat Unique Box offers a premium and exclusive matchday experience, and will be available for select games throughout the remainder of the 2021/22 season and beyond.

Here at Seat Unique, we have exclusively powered AFC Wimbledon’s online hospitality sales since September 2021. The partnership has got off to a tremendous start, due to the successful digital transformation of the club’s hospitality booking process and subsequent increase in sales.

We are delighted that our relationship has been extended to help AFC Wimbledon improve the in-stadium hospitality experience. Since moving to a new stadium, The Dons have greatly increased their hospitality capacity. Their new home has eight corporate boxes, two lounges and a large event space, all perfect for celebrating special occasions with friends and family.

Introducing The Seat Unique Box Experience

In addition to providing our white label services, we have been working closely with AFC Wimbledon to deliver unique VIP matchday experiences for fans. One such initiative is the new Seat Unique Box Experience package.

The fourteen-seater box is located near the halfway line and boasts panoramic pitch views, premium padded seating outside the box, a complimentary bar, buffet, and enhanced entertainment features including access to a Playstation 5 on which guests can play FIFA 22. This supports the club’s commitment to enhancing its in-stadium fan experience and hospitality offering.

The Seat Unique Box Experience is bookable for both individuals and groups of up to fourteen and can be purchased for exclusive use subject to availability. Fans can access the box two hours before kick-off, where they will receive a welcome drink on arrival and have a dedicated host.  

After the final whistle, fans will have access to the hospitality bar for up to one hour. Or, they can continue to soak up the matchday atmosphere at The Phoenix - AFC Wimbledon’s new pub which has stairs leading up to the concourses allowing fans to mingle.  

The package will be priced dynamically on a match-by-match basis. Low category matches will be available to purchase at a lower price point, starting from £125 per person + VAT. CAT A games against Wycombe Wanderers and MK Dons will cost £169  per person + VAT.

Fans can take a virtual 3D tour of the new hospitality facility at The Cherry Red Records Stadium. This immersive viewing experience is specifically designed to improve the customer experience and can be accessed via the Seat Unique website. Giving fans the option to view the facilities pre-purchase allows for better decision making in the buying process.

The Seat Unique Box Celebrates the History of AFC Wimbledon with Stunning Mural

We were thrilled to partner with The Bark Group to have an amazing mural designed for the box. It depicts pivotal moments in AFC Wimbledon’s history, including The Crazy Gang’s famous 1988 FA Cup win, their promotion to the football league in 2011, and features club legends such as Vinnie Jones and Luke Garrard.

The mural is a wonderful celebration of The Dons achievements, as well as the grit and determination the club is known for. It captures great moments of passion from the club’s history and is a fantastic boost for the atmosphere of the box.
